Completed as part of a broader district program of campus HVAC upgrades, this project delivered a DSA-approved modernization that improved comfort, indoor air quality, and reliability while aligning with current Title 24 standards.
The scope included replacing 17 unit ventilators and 2 fan coils; installing a new boiler, chiller, and central-plant pumps for the existing 2-pipe system; and deploying a new FX-80 EMS that integrated all new equipment along with existing systems (Administration RTU; Library/Media Center 2 RTUs; MPR 3 RTUs plus 1 ground-mounted unit; and 15 wall-mount heat pumps at portables). Deliverables covered site verification, AutoCAD plans, educational and book specifications, Title 24 documentation, bidding support, and full construction administration through punch and DSA closeout, resulting in lower energy use, reduced maintenance, and better year-round learning environments.
