Net Positive provided in-house mechanical engineering services for a central plant upgrade at the San Joaquin County Sheriff and Jail Complex, including replacement of one (1) 550-ton water-cooled chiller and implementation of a thermal ice storage (TES) plant with associated pumps, tanks, heat exchanger, and hydronic specialties. The work was developed specifically to support local County AHJ submission and approval, with mechanical deliverables spanning site/floor plans, equipment layouts, equipment selection and scheduling, hydronic distribution intent, and coordinated documentation suitable for permitting and construction.

For construction documents and execution support, Net Positive produced plan-and-spec deliverables including details, piping schematics, book specifications, and Title 24 documentation, then carried the design through AHJ backcheck by addressing plan review comments and issuing required updates. During construction, we provided construction administration services – reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs, processing equipment substitutions, completing an additional site visit, and delivering as-built record documentation.
