Sonora – Columbia College HVAC Renovation

Net Positive Consulting Engineers provided mechanical design services for targeted HVAC plant replacements at Columbia College, addressing critical heating and cooling infrastructure in two campus buildings. The project scope included the Manzanita Building boiler replacement, along with associated pumps and expansion tank, and restoration/adjustment of piping as needed to maintain the building fire wall. In the Fir Building, the scope included replacement of the chiller serving the building.

Services included design development with equipment selection and coordination plus a site visit to verify existing conditions, followed by construction documents featuring plans, details, schedules, specifications, and Title 24 documentation. Net Positive also supported the project through bidding and construction, including participation in a pre-bid meeting, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and completing a final punch walk.
