Net Positive is the design engineer of record for HVAC systems serving a new multi-facility maintenance complex for FCRTA, including one 25,000 sf maintenance shop, a 10,000 sq. ft. office building, and a 3,100 sq. ft. bus wash station. The design integrates specialized vehicle exhaust snorkels at service bays and a high-efficiency VRF system to deliver reliable heating and cooling across diverse program spaces. Targeted energy measures are designed to exceed Title 24 by at least 10%, supporting FCRTA’s operational goals while preserving long-term value. The HVAC approach emphasizes maintainability, ventilation effectiveness, and occupant safety to meet the demands of a high-use transit operations environment.
