Net Positive was the design engineer of record for the mechanical, plumbing and fire sprinkler scope on this new state-of-the-art facility that bid under budget while including all additive alternatives. The mechanical and plumbing design of this project met the State Chancellor and Colleges goals for decarbonization while also beating Title 24 performance requirements by nearly 20%.

The HVAC system features a combination of VRF and DOAS systems that eliminate the dependency on natural gas, while also giving occupants individual control. Enhanced automated controls also allow for staff control and maintenance, and for student sustainability education via interactive monitors
